Chair - Hannah Yu
Hannah Yu is a senior at Martel majoring in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. She served 3 years on the board as a Volunteer/Logistic Coordinator, a vice-chair, and now as chair. Hannah's grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson's a few years ago and recently passed away due to complications from the disease. She joined the board to spread awareness to others about Parkinson's and to help further research towards a cure. Hannah's favorite kind of pancake is a classic with regular, old syrup. Don't tell anyone, but she likes french toast more than pancakes.

Faculty Sponsor - Dr. Jimmy DeNicco
Jimmy is the Director of the Principles of Economics Program here at Rice University. He teaches about 700 to 800 Rice students every year and considers himself a very lucky guy to do what he does. He has been a guest server the past two years, but this is his first year as the Faculty Sponsor. He is hoping to be able to raise awareness for our event and the broader cause. He wants to help our team make this year’s “pancake party” a big success. Jimmy likes to stack his pancakes up nice and high, then carve out a hole through the middle of them to create a syrup well for dipping. He is a bit of a control freak about how much syrup should accompany each delicious, fluffy bite of pancake.
